This newly developed fiber optic splice sleeve features tapered ends designed to keep the metal strength member in proper position while in use. This fiber optic splice sleeve is available in 60mm and 40mm lengths. Fusion splice protection sleeves provide vital protection at the fused juncture between two fusion spliced fibers. In addition to providing a substitute for the original cable jacket, splice protection sleeves provide a degree of rigidity that prevents the spliced area from bending or flexing. |
