We offer two ribbon sleeve styles: Dual Strength Member and Single Strength Member. The Single Strength Member is 40mm with a final shrink size of 4.3mm - 5.1mm. The Dual Strength Member design eliminates any undue stress on the ribbon, creating a perfectly flat exit for the ribbon. The Dual Strength Member is 40mm with a final shrink size of 4.9mm - 5.7mm. Available with a ceramic strength member. Both Strength Members are clear in color. Fusion splice protection sleeves provide vital protection at the fused juncture between two fusion spliced fibers. In addition to providing a substitute for the original cable jacket, splice protection sleeves provide a degree of rigidity that prevents the spliced area from bending or flexing. |
