The simple one button Auto Test feature will detect the optimal pulse width, range and duration setting for the fiber under test. For multimode fiber optic testing, the launch condition can be adjusted for either 62.5 or 50um fibers. The advanced event and trace analysis features give comprehensive and accurate results. Selectable dual trace mode tests two fiber optic wavelengths at the same time and overlays the trace results. To facilitate file sharing, both the trace files and the included software are Telcordia compatible. The high dynamic range provides plenty of performance for testing metro and FTTH PON networks, even through high port counts splitters. The on-screen help menu makes it quick and easy to learn the various features. Includes LiIon batteries, AC charger, USB cable, one interchangeable adapter for each launch port and software. The optional hard case includes extra storage space for additional accessories like launch spools, adapters and other handheld test equipment.
