FC Bulkhead Female to Female Fiber Optic Attenuators

Our Bulkhead Female to Female Fiber Optic Attenuators utilize a wavelength sensitive neutral density filter to achieve attenuation. You can order these attenuators as ST, FC or SC styles, and each style is available at either 1310nm or 1550nm. The female-to-female design of these attenuators enable them to accept standard male connectors on each side of the bulkhead. Bulkhead Female to Female Attenuators are ideal for use in patch panels, instrument front panels, and other applications that require a fixed level of attenuation and easy connectivity. These attenuators are available in 5, 10, 15 and 20dB values and are designed to replace the standard bulkhead adapter. When choosing one style of attenuator over another, consider attenuation range and wavelength range of the attenuator, as well as resolution and any polarization dependent loss (PDL) requirements.
