A new FIS affiliate company, FIS Blue, specializes in connectors to the Military and Broadcast Industries. FIS Blue's product line includes expanded beam connectors, SMPTE as well as TFOCA-style military connectors, both of which are well suited to harsh-environment applications in broadcast and military. FIS Blue also distributes termini-style cable assemblies, which are sealed against high humidity and moisture.
Military Applications
Cable assemblies can be terminated with a variety of harsh-environment connectors including TFOCA II and TFOCA III connectors.* The termini design enables the TFOCA-II to seal against high humidity and moisture, while allowing full axial and orbital movement of the mated termini. Also available are 24-channel TFOCA-III connectors, which are ideal for high-density applications.
Broadcast Applications
Our cable assemblies can be terminated with a variety of Expanded Beam or SMPTE Connectors. These specialized connectors can also be paired with standard connectors. With FIS Blue, your choices are virtually unlimited!
